Getting to the Bahamas...

This is what my computer wouldn't let me post yesterday or the first day I was here....

Well I made it to the Bahamas! I checked in to the Nassau Beach Hotel room 302. I am glad that my dad and I made it because the trip here was interesting. Not only did we get into many wrong lines, had “weapons” confiscated from us, every flight was delayed, but I also managed to turn a suitcase into a fly projectile that nearly took out my dad. I was so exhausted when I got in the car at 4:30 this morning but had a very uncomfortable sleep/ride in the Jetta. I managed to pass out on the plane to DC without laying on either of the two gentleman sitting next to me (or maybe I did and didn’t realize it while I was asleep). When we finally arrived to DC, we realized that our tickets for the Bahamas had no gate number on them, and we had less then a half hour before departure. But we obviously found the gate, and I don’t remember any of the flight, because once again I passed out. But anyway I am here now, and the internet is super expensive, so I am going to buy a three day unlimited pass, so I may be able to do a little more email and/or posting then I will in the future.

I miss you already. Come home! Just kidding, you can stay. I am praying for you and I hope you can relax for a few days. I hope dad is doing well also and is scuba diving and getting a break. Tell him I love him. It sounds like you guys had a pretty eventful trip. It sounded hilarious. Are you nervous about meeting all of the new kids going on the trip. I don't like making new friends so I would be a little scared. However, you are so brave and outgoing and likeable and will do so great. Keep me updated on everything you do. By the way I should be the main reason you don't want to do away, not your boyfriend, please. O want to hear something funny, on saturday I was supposed to work at a basketball tournament but I forgot because I had spent the night at grandmas and missed it. Oops! And Saturday I tried out for this AAU volleyball team called Far Out. I tried out for the 18 year old team. The girls there were all so good. They are going to Grand Valley and Michigan State and the girl from Leeland was there who is going to Penn State was there. It was crazy but fun. I don't know if I will make it. I know they will have a national team but I don't think I will make it for one and I don't have enough time for that team because of track. I don't know if they will have two teams or not. If not o well life will go on. At the try-outs I met the Hope volleyball coach so that was good and I am starting to e-mail the other coaches of the schools I am interested in. I also got a call from Mario saying you made it to the Bahama's and your telephone number and room number. I wish I could be with you. I bet the weather is great or at least better than here. Anyway, have fun and stay safe.
Love Always Your favorite loving sister who is so awesome,
Kayla
