These are the countries that I will be traveling to and in: Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Brazil, South Africa, Mauritius, India, Myanmar (Burma), Vietnam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, China, Japan (and then Mexico when I return to San Diego in April).

Its coming....

So I finally pinned my dad down into making some decisions about out trip to the Bahamas. After all the trouble and hard thinking he did, he decided he did indeed wanted to go the San Salvador, regaurdless of cost. So, exuberantly I emailed the resort only to find out they have no room available that week... ~roll eyes~ but then again what do you expect. Then after creating an itinerary for flights and the Hotel in Nassua, but not booking it, the price went up. ~roll eyes~ of course it would. But it all is done now. And the etickets are in hand. phew! Now I just have to select which trips I want to do w/ SAS, and get the Malaria pills and the medical release and I am home free... I cannot wait to get on that boat!

January Can't Come Soon Enough

So its 1:30 in the morning, CSI just finished, so I thought I would start up my blog to keep the people at home abreast of what is happen when I am away for four months. I am so unbelievable excited, that at times I don't know if I will be able to wait another 3 months to leave... 3 MONTHS! I applied for this program well over a year ago, and it has kept me warm at night knowing that soon, or more like eventually, I will be embarking on the most incredible journey of my life. I have undergone working at Costco, putting up with enormous amounts of BS at times, and ridiculous hours for a full time student, for more then a year. But I know that in the end it will have been well worth... or so I hope... jk i know it will be. Things are finally coming together nicely, but maybe that statement is a little premature. I guess I'll find out soon enough...
